Toolbox

Gave this still life a try.  It's been a while, but I'm excited to get back into doing more of these.  The owner of our house has shed in the backyard.  It's full of old tools and stuff (gold mine).

Pasadena Hill 2

Another view of the same hill in South Pasadena.  It's a blast to paint the masses of trees and the effect the atmosphere has on them.

Pasadena Hill

Evening time in South Pasadena. This is painted from a baseball field where the girls little league was having a game and I got to listen to their soothing chants while I painted.  "If you're rooting for the Tigers clap your hands!  CLAP CLAP." -____-   Still had a good time doing this one and was able to hone in on the interesting sense of atmosphere that this distant hill creates.

Lagoon

Visited the arboretum on this cloudy morning.  There are so many interesting plants there.  But I wanted to find some atmosphere to paint.  The only place I could find some distance between trees was here at this pond.  The water and mirk on top of it were a blast to paint.
